How You Avoid The Dark Side Of Dentistry

Go for the real smile

Spiders, they keep appearing all around me, crawling over my book. Their eight legs clattering along. Weaving their intricate webs of lies and deceit and so we weave. We spin those webs, casting out our thoughts and feelings. Catching our prey within it. Like the venus fly trap. We send out our scent into the night. Attracting all the honey and when we do and  we get one that sniffs a bit too close, then bang, we snap shut and we keep a tight hold. No way are we letting go of the prey.

Today from where I sit, I see so much. Just look around, GHD straighteners, push up bras, chicken fillets, make up, nail art, teeth whitened, botox. Look different, look younger, look taller. It´s all just a veneer, to just paste over, an image to just fill in and conform to.

Take a trip to the dentist and what happens?

He takes a look inside and whats in there looks dark, a black hole. A quick poke around, a few smoke and mirrors. Then drill and fill a few bits and pieces. The sticking plaster has been stuck in the whole. We look in the mirror and close our mouths. We smile once more through gritted teeth.

Do we like the reflection that stares back at us?

What is actually in that black hole?

If we were to open our mouths and take a proper look? Would it be good or would there be much darkness, much badness.

And so, just like those creepy crawly spiders, it might make you shudder. It may make you want to run away screaming. It may make you want to shut your mouth and not go back to that dentist because, it may cause pain.

The healings didn’t quite happen with a pill and a drill. But that’s OK, you don’t have to look again if you don’t want to, another dentist will do as you ask and fill a few more gaps and not bother to look at the smile within. Or even better, get some veneers and really cover up the truth.

Darkness is not such a bad thing and badness can always be transformed to good if you so choose and are not afraid to face your fears. It isn’t always the easy option short term, but when the same problem repeats itself, then take a look, face your fears and maybe surprise yourself with where you can shine your light and actually allow yourself to see and marvel at your own true smile.

Who needs a dentist?

Well maybe some do and if  he’s the one for you, then brilliant. That’s something that has to be worth truly smiling about. Just this time, your smile is your own and the one smiling back isn’t saying through false teeth, that’s $100 please maam.

Thank you Helen for sharing your opinion.

This way dentistry becomes far more complex than just the normally perceived routine of drill, fill and bill.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

.

.

.

What is the common therapy for a dead or gangrenous finger or toe?

.

It would be removed. No question asked.

No one would start fiddling around with the nerves, veins or arteries inside.  A surgeon would just cut it off.

.

Hopefully patient and health professionals involved will afterwards address the underlying cause,s.

.

.

Why root canal treatments are performed

.

If the nerve in your tooth is infected, a root canal treatment is often recommended.  This is a non-surgical dental procedure to save extracting the tooth. The treatment consists of removing the infected pulp, cleaning the root channel and sealing it. The treatment is not considered painful but can sometimes be.

.

Although Root Canal treatments are very popular in dentistry, the more you will learn about them, the more you realise that they are often no more than a quick fix approach. The end result could well be worse than the original problem.

.

A Clinic in Switzerland recently found that of the last 150 breast cancer patients treated in this clinic 147 of them (98%) had one or more root canal treated teeth on the same meridian as the original breast cancer tumour.

WHAT TO DO?

One could say there is no perfect solution in regards of root canal treatments  because either you loose a tooth or you may threaten your health. Hence it is down to the individual situation – What medical problems do you suffer from – how old are you – what kind of technique is the dentist able to use, and so forth.

.

Get all the information you can get whether from your dentist, internet or second opinion . You really need to understand what a root canal treatment is and all the consequences of having a root canal treatment done or the tooth extracted!

Tongue Diagnostic

.

.

.

Tongue Diagnostics has similarities to Reflexology in that different zones of the tongue represent different organs of the body.

The difference however is that tongue analysis is just a diagnostic tool and the method of restoring health to the body is not carried out on the tongue.

.

.

.

.

The tongue is often called the ‘show case’ of the gastrointestinal tract. Tongue diagnosis is an analysis of the condition of the tongue.

Even mainstream medicine accepts and states that inner illnesses have an influence on the tongue.

School medicine recognises that changes in the tongue may be due to illnesses such as syphilis, tuberculosis, Candida, Down-Syndrome, lack of vitamins and progressed diseases of the blood.

.

.

.

.

Everyone knows from their own personal experience that gastrointestinal problems cause coating on the tongue.

Clinical diagnostics is only able to show diseases if pathological changes are already present; with Tongue Diagnostics a therapist is able to already detect first or minor signs of health changes still to come.

Tongue diagnosis can therefore be extremely valuable for any dentist to establish the condition of his patients overall health.

.

.

As with tongue diagnosis there is a “map” of the body represented on the tongue as well as on the ear, hand, foot, face and eyes.

.

The image below shows the “map” of the body represented on the  tongue.

Atlas Correction

.

The Liberation

.

When your Atlas bone – the top cervical vertebra, known as C1 – is out of alignment, it affects every organ in the body as well as the central nervous system.

And guess what?

It is out of alignment in almost everyone, making it virtually impossible for us to function correctly.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

Because of a misaligned atlas we are not able to listen to our body’s signals, using our mind instead to over-ride the subtle warning mechanisms of that incredible vehicle.

.

.

.

.

.

.

With a misaligned Atlas, any resultant pressure on the spinal cord can bring about serious disturbances to the nervous system, impacting the flow of nerve impulses from the brain in turn reducing, distorting or even neutralising the natural workings of the body.

.

.

.

.

.

.

Our ignorance of this can be the cause of so many poor health conditions from structural body pains – TMJ, neck, hip and back being the most common – to a considerable array of less obvious connections.

.

The procedure for correction

.

  • Massage applied to the short musculature of the neck.
  • Single application, safely and permanently,
  • Atlas bone returns to its correct position. Old patterns clear and the entire system begins to function to its fullest potential.
  • Realigning the Atlas is like getting the foundations of a house laid correctly.  When the support structure is in place, the rest of the vertebrae are aligned and function as designed.
  • In most of us, the Atlas is out of alignment from birth and even before birth; babies born by C-section almost always have their Atlas out of place.
  • Once corrected, the Atlas won’t become out of alignment again.
  • When the muscles are loose, the Atlas can slide down gently into place by itself.  There is no cracking of the neck or any kind of chiropractic manipulation, or anything that might be traumatic; it is safe.
  • A self-healing process will start once the Atlas correction has been performed, as many pathways running through the neck will be realigned, such as the blood circulation, nerves, optical nerves, lymphatic system and the body’s life force.

.

.

.

This is a very powerful tool for holistic dentists or actually any dentist to get their client´s Atlas aligned properly before starting any major dental work.

Almost everything depends on a correctly located Atlas. It’s a tragedy that the human body falls sick at all, but it’s fatal ignorance if we learn the cause yet do nothing.

Your Dental Check Up

. . . . .

.

.

.

.

.

If you haven´t been to the dentist for a while, make sure you get a comprehensive dental check up. . . . .

.

.

.

.

.

Your dentist will probably take a series of x-rays to check if any decay is hidden in between the teeth, below fillings or crowns, if the roots of your teeth are healthy and the bone is healthy. . . . . .

He will also scan your mouth for any signs of cancer, check your chewing habits, chewing related muscles and your TMJ. . .

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

If you have experienced any discomfort or pain, now is the time to tell your dentist.

.

.

.

.

Whatever treatment appears to be necessary and is recommended make sure you fully understand the procedures with its pros and cons as well as the alternatives.

The Future of Dentistry

Chapter 28

.

The Future of Dentistry

.

You can look at the question “Where is dentistry heading?”  from various perspectives and depending on your view you will come up with different scenarios.

From a Healh Care System view you could argue we have to create a system which is affordable for patients, government and dentists alike.

From a technology point of view you will see some amazing discoveries and developments in the years to come.

My opinion is that it´s not depending on how much or less a government or insurance subsidize your treatment.

The solution lies within yourself.

By taking responsibility for your health, eating a nourishing diet, having a healthy life style, some regular exercise and a positive outlook on life you will keep yourself and your teeth far more fit than by just relying on the repair-system offered.

Your Checklist for the Dentist

.
If you haven´t been to the dentist for a while, make sure you get a comprehensive dental check up.

In our easy to read book you´ll find two self-explaining lists one for checking your teeth at home and one to put you in the know what your dentist is likely to examine.

Your dentist will probably take a series of x-rays to check if any decay is hidden in between the teeth, below fillings or crowns, if the roots of your teeth are healthy and the jaw bone is well.

Your dentist will  scan your mouth for any signs of cancer, check your chewing habits, chewing related muscles and the joints you use to chew ( TMJ).

If you have experienced any discomfort or pain, now is the time to support your dentist and tell according to the list we provided.

Whatever treatment appears to be necessary and is recommended make sure you fully understand the procedures with its pros and cons as well as the alternatives.

Is this  what you really want?

Did you have a look into the ingredients and side effects of these artificial smiles.

Have you ever asked yourself why you are not happy with the appearance of your teeth, ears,  nose …. ?

If you really need these sparkly white ones try our natural recommendations before you go for the harsher stuff.

Water Fluoridation

.

Water Fluoridation

.

Water Fluoridation is one of the biggest scandals of our time.

The fluorides used to fluoridate your water aren´t natural fluorides – they are toxic chemicals, industrial waste products from the phosphate fertilizer industry that cannot by law be dumped!

Initially water fluoridation was introduced with the benefit to reduce the incident of dental caries in children but once fluoride is added to the water it is impossible to control the dose or who gets it and it´s nothing but mass medication.

Even fluoride promoters admit that its benefits are only topical – if it doesn´t work from the inside why swallow it?

There is hardly any difference in tooth decay whether countries fluoridate the water or not.

But it can cause significant harm such as brittle bones, lower the IQ, damage your thyroid and pineal glands and many other severe problems.

It’s this simple – tooth decay is not caused by lack of fluoride!

Mercury

Chapter 9

.

Mercury

.
Hardly any topic in dentistry is debated as controversially as Mercury Amalgam Fillings.

Advocates claim mercury fillings are safe, cheap and easy to use and stay for a very long time.

Opponents know that mercury is a neuro-toxin and uncover more and more evidence about its damage to overall health.

Mercury fillings are classified as medical devices; as soon as they are removed they become hazardous waste.

Why would anyone place something in their body that has a high potential to harm them?

If you prefer not to have mercury in your mouth why have it in your vaccines?
